A wine glass has been dropped on the floor and horrified heads turn to the mess.
‘Be careful!’ warned the lady with the hat.
‘Watch your fingers!’ cried the man in red.
‘Quick, grab some bread!’ says a mysterious stranger.
Bread?
That’s right, to deal with broken glass, just grab some bread.
Here are the instructions:
1. Pick up the larger pieces of glass by hands, carefully.
2. For the smaller shards, place the soft side of the bread on them carefully and gently press down.
3. The surface acts like a sponge and small fragments of glass will be picked up.
Make sure you dispose of the broken glass safely… and don’t eat the bread!
